Terms of use

Cenote Scout helps you research and compare. The decision to travel, enter or take part in an activity remains yours.

Last updated: 17 July 2026

1. Who we are and acceptance

Cenote Scout is an informational project operated by LIBERA Studio from Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. By using cenotesscout.com you accept these terms. If you disagree, stop using the website.

2. Informational service

The website organises information about cenotes, operators and visiting conditions. We are not the operator of the listed places, a travel agency, a rescue service or an authority. We currently do not sell tickets, manage bookings or process payments.

3. Verification and changes

Prices, hours, access, facilities, requirements, contacts, coordinates and conditions may change without notice. Each listing shows a verification status and, when available, a date or source. Pending, reported or estimated status is not confirmation. Check directly with the operator before travelling.

4. Safety, health and access

A listing does not certify safety, water quality, accessibility, road condition or suitability for a particular person. Water activities, stairs, caves, wildlife, weather and roads may involve risk. Assess conditions, respect closures and signs, use required equipment and follow operator and authority instructions. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

5. Maps, operators and third parties

Third-party coordinates, routes and travel times may be wrong or lead to private or impassable access. Links to maps, WhatsApp, social networks, operator websites and other external services are provided for reference and governed by their own terms. We do not control or automatically endorse their content.

6. Corrections and submissions

By submitting a correction, you confirm that you may share it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You allow us to review, edit and publish it without revealing your personal data unless agreed otherwise. We may request evidence, reject changes or retain the previous status when verification is not possible.

7. Permitted use

You may browse and share links for personal, lawful use. You may not interfere with the website, attempt to access restricted systems, extract data in a way that degrades the service, impersonate an operator, submit false information or reuse the identity or editorial compilation as your own.

8. Intellectual property

The Cenote Scout brand, design, software, editorial selection and original copy are protected by applicable law. Geographic names, facts and third-party materials belong to their respective sources and owners. Concept images are identified as such and do not depict a specific cenote.

9. Sponsored content

If paid content is introduced in future, it will be clearly labelled. Payment will not make information verified, hide its date or buy an editorial recommendation.

10. Availability and liability

We aim to keep the website available and correct errors, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that all information is complete or current. To the extent permitted by law, Cenote Scout and LIBERA Studio are not liable for decisions based solely on the directory, acts of operators or third parties, changing conditions, routes, accidents or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Privacy and changes

Personal-data processing is explained in the Privacy notice. We may update these terms when the service changes. We will publish the new date and provide a visible notice for material changes.

12. Law and contact

These terms are interpreted under applicable Mexican law. Before starting a dispute, you may contact hola@liberastudio.tech or via WhatsApp to seek a good-faith resolution.
